# Code of Conduct

## Purpose

TechScript is a technical project built through collaboration. We expect everyone who participates in the repository, issue tracker, discussions, pull requests, events, and other project spaces to help maintain a respectful and professional environment.

## Expected conduct

Participants are expected to:

- Communicate respectfully and assume good faith.
- Give specific, constructive technical feedback.
- Welcome contributors with different backgrounds and levels of experience.
- Focus criticism on ideas, code, documentation, and behavior rather than people.
- Protect private information and obtain consent before sharing personal data.
- Accept responsibility for mistakes and correct them promptly.

## Unacceptable conduct

The following behavior is not acceptable:

- Harassment, discrimination, threats, or targeted abuse.
- Personal attacks, insults, trolling, or deliberate disruption.
- Sexualized language or unwanted advances.
- Publishing private or identifying information without permission.
- Maliciously reporting, manipulating, or interfering with project systems.
- Any conduct that would make a reasonable participant feel unsafe or unwelcome.

## Scope

This policy applies in all official project spaces and whenever someone is representing TechScript in a public or private space. Maintainers may address serious conduct that occurs outside project spaces when it materially affects the safety or ability of the community to participate.

## Reporting

Report conduct concerns privately to the maintainers at `support@techscript.is-a.dev`. Include the relevant links, dates, participants, and a factual description of what happened. Do not use public issues for sensitive reports.

Reports will be handled confidentially as far as practical, reviewed promptly, and addressed fairly. Retaliation against a person who makes a good-faith report is not permitted.

## Enforcement

Maintainers may take any action appropriate to the situation, including a private warning, correction request, temporary restriction, removal of content, suspension, or permanent ban from project spaces. Decisions will consider the severity, context, impact, and history of the conduct. Maintainers may document enforcement decisions without disclosing private details.
